This is the true story of the tragedy that my daughter, Jenna, suffered at the tender age of 14. Life had been good. Within the span of about two weeks, she went from a typical eighth grader, with a bright future in the sport of swimming and the game of life, to a paralyzed, traumatically brain injured, near-death child-the sickest child in the PICU (pediatric intensive care unit). The doctors thought she might have had a stroke...possibly more than one. Stroke changes everything.
