Works great! We have laminate flooring and our rug kept slipping. With this under it, the rug doesn't move. It is a little longer than 4x6. Our rug is 4'11x6' and it sticks out a little but you can cut it.

NO marks on engineered bamboo!
Slightly larger than my 5x7 rugs which was great because it goes all the way to the edges and I used the trimmings under smaller rugs. Adds a very slight amount of cush to our woven rugs but unless you're under the age of 10, probably won't find it comfortable to be throwing yourself on the floor. Most importantly, since these were for my boys' rooms, the rugs don't move (which was almost annoying when I was trying to rearrange a little by myself ha!) and made vacuuming very easy. NO marks left on our distressed engineered bamboo flooring - the floor was dry when I laid the rug pad, and zero liquids have spilled on it. Great product!! Will purchase more for the family room and living room!

Unwrapped and installed under an antique rug. The rug is large enough that I did not worry about the pad slipping on the floor so I put the smooth side against the floor, that way the rough side of the pad keeps the rug from shifting around on top of the pad. Pad arrived folded and well wrapped in plastic. The folds flattened out immediately. No shedding. No odor. Nice and cushy. Looks good. Feels great under foot. And it muffles the squeaks from the wood floors. Highly recommend.
