Absolutely would be recommend for plus size ladies

I was so pleasantly surprised by this shapewear. Let me start out by saying I am a plus size woman. I am about 5 feet 2 inches and I weigh 250. This puts me in the 3x category in everything I wear, and pants I wear a 20 or 22 usually. I do have the larger apron type belly which is not flattering in any way, and makes it more difficult to look good in most clothes. Shapewear is something I do wear regularly. These come in a 2x 3x size, which i am normally not a fan of because most times they lean toward the smaller size. This is NOT the case with these. They fit me so comfortably. The bottom leg portion is a less restrictive version of the material that is used on the top to smooth the belly portion, and I am glad for that because I hate my legs feeling restricted. The top provides good control and smoothing but does not squeeze so much that it becomes uncomfortable. The top waist part of the band does come with a rubberized strip which is meant to prevent rolling, but unfortunately with my short torso this happens regardless. Overall I'm impressed at the quality and fit of this product and highly recommend.

Miracle maker

I finally received this. I was looking forward to trying this as these "girdles" are all the rage. This body shaper is fantastic. I was worried it would be hot wearing all day for work or it would slip down at the waistline but neither happened. The fabric is very light and the waistline has a strip that pretty much sticks to you to keep it up. Will purchase in another color for lighter clothing.

Really great shapewear

I got the Essentials by Tummy Tank High Waist Thigh shaper in nude. I got the 1X/2X size. However, I have lost a little weight and there was no trouble at all of pulling this shapewear on. It slid right on without having to “tug” it up. It goes all the way up to the bottom of my breasts and as far down as mid-thigh. The front of the tag says “Smooth, Slim, Shape, Comfort.” The back of the tag says “Step into Essentials by Tummy Tank and shimmy your way into a slimmer, confident new you.” I'm guessing if I had gotten the next smaller size, I would have been “shimmying” my way into the shapewear. It has a silicone strip on the waist and legs to keep it in place. It was comfortable to wear. There was no “binding” or pinching at all. It washes in a front-loading washing machine on “delicates” very nicely. I did hang it up to dry on a hanger. The tag indicates that the MSRP (Manufacturer's Suggested Retail Price) is $19.99, which, quite honestly, is very reasonable. I think it is worth that price. I may even get one in a smaller size. That being said, I would definitely recommend this shapewear.
