Beautiful rustic tree topper

It looks very pretty and as pictured, but up close, it has small strings of glue from creating that need to be trimmed. I bought it to be a tree topper, but I quickly learned that it was too top heavy for me to put on my tree. It became a centerpiece on my mantle. To do that, I bent the star back just a little from the base to counterbalance the weight and used an existing stocking-hanging nail throuh a couple of base rings to keep it stable.
