On Translating the Noble Quran into English (Paperback)

Comprising three research papers, the present book tries to shed light on three linguistic issues in the Noble Quran with reference to translation into English. Two of these issues are found in the two languages under study, i.e. Arabic and English, which are the linguistic phenomenon of collocation and the subject of pronouns. The third issue, which is related to the impact of inflectional marks on translation, is Arabic specific. The study is conducted based on Quranic interpretations from which the meanings of the Quranic verses are determined.
