I think this is pretty good. I'm no bed spread expert.It's design is old-fashioned, but there's something to be said for that. The pattern (paisleys) and style very much remind me of bed covers that my grandmother had.The cloth feels heavy but, as 100% cotton, is very breathable. It's very big. You will probably have to tuck it on a queen bed unless it's pretty high off the floor.I got the Sage color, a very mellow green, looks pretty much as pictured.

I washed it upon arrival and the shrinkage was slightly more than I expected but it still fit perfectly for the bed. I did wash it according to instructions using cold water and the lowest setting on my dryer. I like to store items under the bed so the length in both directions after washing still works for me. As with other bedding I always fold a triangle that I secure with a hidden safety pin to raise the foot corners. I am really happy with this bedspread and may order a different color in the future for seasonal changes.
