I have used my pad a lot, first to test out with water as a test run. it held just fine and none leaked or seeped through the backside. then we put it on the sofa and we sat on it and it did not make any loud crinkling noises so that was good too. i put it on the floor for my new puppy .she used it as a large wee pad for days. it always held up and never leaked and wash after wash, came up just fine. then i cut it into quarters and stitched the edges to use in the pee pad holder. i can say this is the best way to pee pad train a dog. wash after wash, holds up great and still holds water in. I am going to get more. i see this as the perfect thing to have around the house: sick kid with the flu? put it over the pillows and top of bed in case of vomiting so you dont have a real mess to clean up. wet kids after the beach? put this in the back seat! they can sit on it on the ride home. buy a big one and cut holes for seat belts and you have a really good seat protector. own a nice car? lay one out in the trunk so the carpet stays nice when you haul around groceries that may spill or other possibly messing items. why wait till something spills? be ready. i am super happy with this, its just what i was looking for. its a good quality for the money. I selected the 17X24 4-Layer Washable Waterproof Underpads to use for when my 4 year old grandson spends the night. We have a full size memory foam mattress and, while it's the best mattress I've ever owned, it's basically a giant firm sponge. Although my grandson is potty trained, he has frequent accidents. We have a mattress cover and have tried several other padded mattress covers, but they are not waterproof at all. I always end up taking everything off the bed and airing it out. This last weekend we had our first chance to try them out. These pads work very well and are a successful solution. The underpad held all the urine and for the first time ever, I didn't need to change the sheets during his sleepover. I simply tossed the underpad in the washer. When I took it out, I inspected it for tears or holes. It held up just fine. Same for when I removed it from the dryer. It is a very well made product. I'd say that the quality is excellent. I intend on buying a few more of these so we'll always have a clean one on hand. I would definitely recommend this well made product to anyone with a young child.
