Not a thick fluffy shag, but good color.

I have two Unique Loom shag rugs in my home and just LOVE them. Nice and thick, yet easy to vacuum, and they keep their "fluff" even after two years of constant wear. BUT, this particular "opulence" version ofshag is different, not thick and a different, more shiny material that basically lies flat. The rug is not thick and fluffy, so I returned it and will replace with an different shag. Did LOVE the red color, though, which is not otherwise available.

Look for another item, this one is useless

Rug will not lay flat. I tried rolling it in opposite direction, weighing down with books, vacuuming, Flipping it over. After three weeks of curling and waves in the carpet I contacted the company. They sent a long list of things to do. I did not make this purchase to be in a constant struggle with a rug. Did as they advised in addition to all I tried, to no avail. The hilarious part is If I wanted to return it, the company says it has to be in the original package. I Am unsure of who would keep a plastic you have to cut to remove the carpet, and how would you get it back in the package again? I would avoid this purchase if you are thinking of buying it.
