I bought this as a birthday present for my sister. Both of us have had this slow cooker for many years (over20 years). We absolutely love, love, love it! A few weeks ago as we were talking long distance on the phone, my sister mentioned that her West Bend slow cooker was getting old (just like us). We are older and it isn't very easy to lift heavy items. Not a problem with this slow cooker. I ordereed her a red one with the tote but the red was unavailable at the time I needed it; so she got another grey one. Both of us use our West Bend slow cookers every week and neither of us have ever had a problem of any kind. I sure would highly recommend this product.

My only problem with this is it is deeper then my old one I am replacing. The glass lid was a wonderful surprise as my old one had a plastic lid that over time discolored. It is just the right size for a RV storage. The other surprise, we received it about a week before it was due to arrive and just in time for our next trip!
