Sumitomo ST719 275/70R22.5 148/145M H Commercial Tire

I don't know how these compare to “high end” brands when it comes to ride, but when it comes to price, these compare absolutely great- as in roughly HALF the cost of Michelin, for example. These are the same as what was on my Class A motorhome when I bought it. The original Sumitomo tires lasted 10 years with virtually no tread wear and just barely beginning to develop sidewall cracks. Not sure how many miles were on them as we put on over 30,000, but we don't even know how many miles the previous owner put on them. Never had any problem with any of the tires, held air well with not even a slow leak. The ride and traction seemed good overall, although I've never had more expensive tires, so I guess I can't honestly compare the ride quality. Bottom line, no matter how good any other brand may be, I can't justify spending $600 or more per tire, especially when I'm buying 6 at a time. Even at $310 per tire, by the time you add in mounting, balancing and alignment, it's at least a $3000 expense. So yeah, I'm good with these. Oh- and added bonus, by ordering on Walmart.com I was able to have the tires shipped, for FREE, directly to the tire installers shop. Easy peasey.

The ST719SE was there newest tire and rated great. Very happy with them.
