I've always loved going to the Drive-In movies so I could sit outside the car and watch movies under the stars. The problem is there aren't many Drive-In theaters open anymore and the ones that are aren't very close. So I thought it would be fun to set this up outside and even though it's not the same as the Drive-In, it would still be fun. One thing for sure, the bathroom is cleaner at home lol. This VANKYO projector comes with everything you need to enjoy a movie on the big screen. Included in the package: Projector, lens cap, remote (batteries not included) HDMI cable, power cord, AC adapter, Lens cleaning kit, fabric screen, adhesive hooks to hang the screen, mounting screws, a manual and a quick setup guide. I connected my laptop to the projector with the HDMI cable (included) and set the projector to screen mirroring. I streamed the movie from my online Xfinity account using WIFI. I wanted to test this out indoors right away. I was skeptical and wasn't sure the image would be clear enough. Putting up the screen: The screen included is 100" and has 6 grommets for hanging. The plastic adhesive hooks are very useful for hanging on flat surfaces. When hanging to a tree, I used small screw in hooks (not included) which also work well. See Photo 1. At first I put the screen up in the yard between a tree and a tetherball pole and the projector on the porch (fear of rain) but the distance between the screen and projector was too far. Plan B, I hung the screen up to the porch railings. The projector was only about 11 feet from the screen and did overflow slightly because I didn't have the screen hung perfectly. Setting up the projector: There are 3 aspect ratios. Simply set the ratio and focus, and the picture and sound quality are amazingly sharp and crisp. There's no grainy look with the graphics and no vibration to the sound. I thoroughly enjoyed watching my first movie on my new projector. Best of all, I watched outside on my porch. NOTE: When images are mirrored, they can only be as good as the source. I highly recommend this projector for distances up to approximately 20 feet. NOTE: A larger screen is needed in order to screen from 20 feet (200" not included) Ok, time to make the popcorn and watch the next movie!

My daughter has been wanting a portable projector for a while now. So, I finally gave in and got this one for her birthday. These days, you don’t need to spend $1000 to get a model with good picture quality, high brightness, and great color. With a projector, you can get a huge screen size for a fraction of the price of a big TV. And you can take it on the go! We camp and travel a lot so the projector is perfect for our family! The Vankyo projector comes with a projector, a 100” clothe screen (I was impressed by the size), adhesive hooks and screws, remote (batteries not included), power cable, and HDMI cable. Everything is supplied for an awesome movie night! It was super easy to set up and get ready! I hung the screen and plugged in the projector. Next, I connected the HDMI cable (included) to my computer and projector, took off lense cover, and turned on projector. Make sure the room is dark so you get a bright picture. And the closer the projector is to the screen, the brighter your projection will be. You can also connect your phone or Fire TV stick (not included) to the projector and watch movies that way too. The picture was clear and sound was great! Football season is starting soon and we will be putting this little machine to work a bunch! I can honestly say that I am very impressed with this projector and definitely recommend it! RGM
