DHP Harlow Full Metal Arm Futon with 6-Inch Thermobonded High Density Polyester Fill Blue Microfiber Mattress

SETUP TIME: approx. 2hrs for two ppl SETUP DIFFICULTY: it's a little tedious with the amount of steps & volume of hardware but the instructions/hardware are clearly labelled and easy to follow. Note: we didn't encounter any alignment issues like others have mentioned-- best advice is to hand tighten BEFORE you commit and secure. DURABILITY: I question how long this will last in the long run but it serves the purpose for what we need. States 600lb max. weight but I'm nervous even putting half of that. I added an extra board beneath the mattress to disperse the weight evenly as the bars to support the load appear to be very thin and my fear is they'll snap if someone stands on the mattress/exerts direct pressure in one spot. MATTRESS: it's decent, not the worst and not premium. I weigh 190lbs and when I sit it doesn't compress to the point where I feel the bars like others had mentioned (before I added the board). OPENED FULLY (AS A BED): there's a bit of gap right in the middle where the mattress folds so it may be uncomfortable if sleeping perpendicularly over the middle line (not a big deal for our needs)

Nice futon for the money. I only gave it 4 stars because it was too low for us so we bought 4" risers to make it more comfortable height for us.
