Ask a doctor before use if you are taking a diuretic. Ask a doctor before use if you have problems or serious side effects from taking pain relievers or fever reducers. Ask a doctor before use if you have nausea, vomiting or abdominal pain. Ask a doctor before use if you have a sudden change in bowel habits that lasts over 2 weeks or irritable bowel syndrome.When using this product you may have loose, watery, more frequent stools.Stop use and ask a doctor if you have rectal bleeding or your nausea, bloating, cramping or abdominal pain gets worse. These may be signs of a serious condition. Stop use and ask a doctor if you get diarrhea. Best gentle laxative and no taste!
I was introduced to MiraLAX while hospitalized. My first thought was "oh no, another yucky tasting laxative"! The nurse mixed an envelope of MiraLAX in a glass of water and assured me it was tasteless. I had my doubts, but my discomfort wasn't going away. To my surprise, the only taste I experienced was the non-taste of water! No after taste, no yucky taste, no bloating, no stomach ache and best of all, it was gentle and effective within 12 hours. I knew I needed to have MiraLAX in my medicine cabinet.
