Better Homes & Gardens 16-Piece Farmhouse Square Dinnerware Set

I have the sixteen piece dinnerware set known as Modern Farmhouse. This set is made by Better Homes & Gardens. You can mix and match their patterns to create your own unique look. I really like this set. It's heavy and feels like a very nice quality. This particular set displays with a beautiful white finish with tan/beige accents of dots, stripes, and a scalloped pattern, as you can see in the photo. This set came with four dinner plates, which are striped. It comes with four dessert/salad plates that sport a dotted pattern. It comes with four soup type bowls that exhibit a scalloped pattern, It comes with four mugs/coffee cups that have a geometric design. This set could be very elegant or very casual, depending on how you would like to use it. It would also be beautiful as a display setting. While this set will include enough pieces for four people, additional sets may be purchased. There are also accessories and some beautiful open stock pieces available to grow your collection. These dishes are heavy, durable and beautiful. The mugs are a generous size and holds 2 cups of liquids with about 1/4 inch from the top. If you have a problem with your plates fitting in your cabinets I dont believe you will with these. Plates are 10.5 inches, salad plates are 8.5 inches, and the bowl width is 6 inches. Each has their own pretty design. Hence the mix and match name. I have been using these about 2 weeks now. We have a lot of food sensitivities so eating out of the box is not common. I use and abuse dishes by cooking and hand washing all day. In the evening they go thru the dishwasher. I am very busy and try and be as careful as can be, but I have clanked them around a bit and no chips, scratches, or cracks yet. This is a very timeless collection. It fits in with modern, farmhouse, Tuscan, transitional and traditional. We are enjoying them so much we are adding to our collection. Inventory is low right now, but I contacted the email address on the box and asked about future availability. They responded within 24 hours and assured me inventory will be replenished in stores and Walmart.com These are definately a good investment.
