The Classic Sci-Fi Ultimate Collection 1 & 2 (DVD)

If you like the old sci-fi movies from the 50's you will be very happy with this purchase. I remember seeing most of these years ago on late night TV, and it's nice to have them in my collection. The best of the lot are The Incredible Shrinking Man and Tarantula. The weakest are probably The Land Unknown and The Leech Woman, but even these two are entertaining. If you figure 10 movies for around $40 it comes out to be about $4 for each movie. That's a very good price, especially considering some of these movies are difficult to find individually. I can recommend this collection to any sci-fi movie fan.

This DVD set which I have only found to be at Wal-Mart contains some especially difficult to locate movies from the height of the sci fi genre of the 1950's. Ten edge of your seat for that time but most interesting by today's standards movies packed into one collection. For those of you who remember these as new movies, it will bring a thrill to you to view them again as movies such as this are the foundation for much of sci fi as we know it today.
