This is a great light weight small stand/hand mixer. It does auto spin when mixing. I made a batch of Dream Whip without having to stop and scrape bottom of bowl while mixing. The hand mixer is light weight and very easy to remove from mixer base. Perfect for cakes, cookies, muffins in a single batch as 2.9 quart bowl. Especially easy to use if you have severe arthritis.
