Very heavy.

The shelf is beautiful. Takes a while to receive, and the first one we ordered arrived shattered, they didn't wrap it in bubble wrap. Returned to store and ordered another. The second one was fine. The shelf is extremely heavy though, and the brackets are very short and do not really support the weight. We needed to attach it to drywall, and the drywall anchors that came with it will never hold it. We had to go buy our own, and we still hung it upside down to distribute the weight a little easier on the brackets. It angles down slightly and we cannot put anything heavy on it. But aesthetically it is very pleasing.
