Starting dosage: Adults and children 12 years of age and over: 2 tablets once a day. Children 6 to under 12 years: 1 tablet once a day. Children 2 to under 6 years: 1/2 tablet once a day. Children under 2 years: ask a doctor.Maximum dosage: Adults and children 12 years of age and over: 4 tablets twice a day. Children 6 to under 12 years: 2 tablets twice a day. Children 2 to under 6 years: 1 tablet twice a day. Children under 2 years: ask a doctor.
Instructions
Take preferably at bedtime or as directed by a doctor. Warnings: Do not use if you are now taking mineral oil, unless directed by a doctor. Do not use laxative products for longer than 1 week unless directed by a doctor. Ask a doctor before use if you have stomach pain, nausea, vomiting, or if you have noticed a sudden change in bowel habits that continues over a period of 2 weeks. I have multiple GI conditions and also have moderate to severe chronic pain. I get a bit backed up and my GI doc suggested this because I hate taking mirilax, it tastes terrible. I also have to use it for my colonoscopy prep , which is on a 18 month schedule. I have been taking this for a couple of weeks and I'm very pleased, even though I'm still working out the therapeutic dose. Highly recommended!
