The marble is beautiful! I was surprised at the thickness and consistency of color; no blemishes. I bought 2 for both sides of my fireplace and am very glad that I did! I keep the cross bars in the back for better balance but recommend using connecting stabilizers to the wall to prevent children from pulling it over on themselves. The high quality of the marble makes it heavy. That is another reason to place the crossed bars in the back; mischievous kids cant climb. This is a great purchase! You will need 2 people to lift and build it. It isnt hard, just heavy. I did a lot of research and this is the best price, can ship within a week and the best quality. Go for the purchase!

The top is real marble and it is heavy. The instructions were a bit hard to follow. The holes lined up well, but getting the cross bars on correctly requires a little juggling to get alignment. Overall I am very pleased with the table and the cost was less at Walmart than other web sites.
