oh my gosh...

I have always liked Michael McDonald...he was one of the best in concert that I've ever seen. I was really drawn to this cd when I saw it come in...no wonder! Since I have been around a while, I recognized the covers, which he does a great job on and certainly puts his own stamp onto. The 3 songs he wrote (Still Not Over You Getting Over Me), Enemy Within, and Only God Can Help Me Now are amazing...he and his collaborators can really write a song. If you like his music, you should check out the cd "Oh Happy Day"...he wrote and sang a song on that multi-artist effort called "Storm Before the Calm" that is really well-written and a rocker. He sure doesn't let you down in any way. I can't believe you can buy all of this great music for this price! I am SO glad I bought this! Thanks, Michael McDonald and Wal-Mart!

Michael McDonald

The CD is really good. I previously purchased 2 other Motown CDs he made. I am little biased, when it comes to Michael McDonald's music. His first 2 CDs were better, but I don't regret purchasing this one. The first two were much more soulful. Some of the songs on this cd were not the as good as the first 2 cds. It changes nothing. I will always purchase his cds. I love his voice. I would love to hear some Sam Cooke and more of Jackie Wilson & Gladys Knight. I simply love Michael McDonald. It is a very good cd.
