The set comes with two shams for your decorative pillows to go in . I washed the set before I used it , as it made it softer to sleep on .

"Tranquilty"
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the medallions throughout this duvet!!! The colors give my guestroom such a sense of peace. My comforter was rather dark but still in good shape. It fit nicely in the duvet without any extra material. It's great that the set is washable. I had to take my comforter to the laundromat to wash. The lightweight fabric, print and color, give my room a calming effect. I absolutely LOVE IT!!!
