Very sturdy. Would highly recommend.
This piece's look is true to its photos... looks great in the room with my desk. Drawers open all the way so you can see all that is in them. Drawers and doors are slow closing.

Poor quality and design
This bookshelf is not designed very well. I bought 2 of them to use as a room divider for my studio. However, apparently you can only use it a shelve with the the back facing the wall because the screw holes are on the outside and look awful! The quality is pretty mediocre too and already started to chip.
