Installed right in place of very old 36" cooktop
Removal of old cook top unit took about 1/2 hour. The glass like top was cracked & fractured. Some crud under all around the edge area. Used putty knife to scrape clean. Then installation of news top took maybe an hour due to unexpected trip to hardware store The supplied gas connectors didn't fit existing gas pipe. Had to make trip to hardware store for proper gas pipe fitting. Overall, a very attractive cook top.
