Perfect size and shape for what I needed it for and the color is as pictured, however, I would caution you to make sure to read the product dimensions carefully because nothing about this frame is adjustable. It's a nice simple frame with just the right amount of elegance and not all of the unnecessary ceremonial embellishments that actually hinder functionally. This frame looks particularly great if your home has an elliptical staircase like they have in those Chateauesque mansions located in the heart of Los Angeles. Its distinguishing features are the craftsmanship and the way in which the connecting points are joined. Anyway, I'm happy with it and I think you will be too.

This BHG frame is beautiful. It's very unique with its metal ring to hang it by. I think the ring makes it look classy. The frame is matted, so it will fit a 5 x 7 picture matted, or an 8 x 10 without. The frame I received is a bronze metal (sharp!) with a silver ring. I have a collage of pictures on one wall in my living room that all have the same type of frame, and that looks great. But this type of frame is for that picture you want a special frame for. It will definitely stand out with this frame. It seems very well made. This one is a definite 5 stars.
