Sunco Lighting 12 Pack PAR38 LED Bulb 13W=100W, 4000K Cool White, 1050 LM, Dimmable Flood Light, Indoor/Outdoor, Accent, Highlight - UL & Energy Star Listed

I have had the opportunity to review a pair of SUNCO Dimmable LED 13W (260W) 1050 Lumens (3000K – Warm) UL Listed lamps. I received these flood lights through the Sparkreviewer program. Since I live in an older, 1000 sq ft home with no recessed lighting fixtures it was necessary to think of areas where I could use and review these high power LED bulbs. I chose two areas; (1) Workshop and (2) security. Over my workbench I replaced two of my incandescent bulbs with the two SUNCO LED flood lights. These certainly brightened my work area. Although brighter the light was not harsh and I found it easier to see the details of the parts I was working on. Another feature about LED lighting is that the bulbs are warm to the touch but not blistering hot. You do not use your bare hands to unscrew a standard flood light while it is still on, however, I was able to unscrew these and install them in one of my security light fixtures. After it got dark I went out to activate the security light and I was pleased to see that the LED flood lights actually lit up the area better than the two 100W standard flood lights. Those I had to be careful not to get them too close to the wood soffit but that is not a concern with the LED lamps. The fact that LED lighting also saves energy and cost less to operate is another plus. The only downside is that the initial cost of these bulbs is usually more than the incandescent bulbs. However, since LED bulbs are projected to last longer, that can make the initial price easy to justify. Although I had no way to test the dimmable feature of the bulbs it is a feature I would use if I used them indoors in a reset lighting fixture. Bottom line: I recommend the LED bulbs whether it is used to light a work area, security lighting around the property or to provide lighting inside the home.

I ordered this product to originally use them for my outside patio lights and I needed a large bright one because we have such an extremely dark area in our backyard. Unfortunately these did not fit properly for my back yard so I gifted them to my neighbor and they said that they work amazingly, the best lights they've ever used! They provide such a strong bright light for them and they wanted to know the name and model number of this product so that they could purchase it for all of their patio lights. Now I'm on a hunt to find one that fits the lights in my backyard because I'm totally jealous!
