Barbie Fashionistas Doll, Curvy Body Type Wearing Floral Frills

Ok bought myself this particular Barbie to work on my sewing skills, Barbie does make s great fit model. As my niece is quickly getting to a age where she will be old enough for Barbie. I feel the clothes that came on her are not up to the standards of the standard Barbie doll. Which is why I gave it 4 stars, the top is ok but the shorts are to snug and pull way up when you put her into a sitting position

I bought her mainly because of her beautiful head. You can't beat the contrast darker hair dolls have in photos. They don't need so much make up, their skin tone makes them glow. I love her hair and face. It is so rare to have a doll with brown hair, brown eyes and European characteristics on a regular body. She is a compromise from the neck down, including her clothes. Honestly ruffles add extra body volume. Super thin girls that would like to appear with a larger bust size wear ruffled bikini tops. This doll did not need ruffles, could wear an a line dress or wide pants and a cropped top and be just fine.
