Mental health is such a huge issue in today's society. No matter what has contributed to the way you feel, whether it is from your childhood, trauma as an adult, from the workplace, being in a volatile relationship or any other situation, your feelings are valid. They are real to you and that is what matters. The poems in this book reflect part of my story. I used the words in my head to create an overflow valve for all the chaos. Maybe by reading these words you will be able to find a way to create your own overflow valve and ease the stress in your mind, even just a little bit. You are a beautiful individual in this world.
