I have it hanging above our kitchen sink and it is perfect for just the right amount of lighting without being too much AND if looks amazing. I'm always getting compliments on it. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a very beautiful and high-quality pendant light, however, the 20 inch description may be misleading even with correct measurements taken. This light fixture is extremely large on the scale of a chandelier type of pendant, with a long but adjustable drop. It is just as tall as it is wide, so unfortunately, it's far too large for the kitchen nook where I had planned to use it originally. The color is a dark matte concrete gray with a dark bronze coffee colored metallic base that conceals the LED light built-in underneath. I do love the UFO style shade and the style is modern. It fits our home aesthetic, but I believe I'll have to find another location that has more height either in our house or in our lake house. It's a beautiful piece of lighting, but for some reason I was expecting this light to be a lot smaller.
