these socks are the best. I ordered some a couple weeks ago just to make sure I liked them as my feet are very sensitive. i have only washed them once so i can't comment on their durability. but I was sure to wash inside out and hang dry which isn't always convenient for me but being 97% cotton, hang drying is a must as they would probably shrink right up. with this order they sent me an extra two pair as a free gift but they are Alpaka. i put them on right away as I was curious and my feet immediately started to itch. but the regular 97% cotton socks are very comfortable on the inside and useful for the days i walk a lot or on my feet all day but also just because my feet are very sensitive,i think from neuropathy due to my brain tumor and it seems like I've tried dozens of socks and none have worked until these. my feet are happy!! i would recommend to anyone.
