An affordable bucket-list coin.

This penny, for many, is a bucket list acquisition for collectors such as me. Though a VF-30 Certified rating is not the end-all to said dreams, it is a good start as unto affordability within said bucket list. Many may hold out for a MS-65 or above for their first dip into the 1909 S VDB accumulation, and more power unto them, should they have the financial wherewithal to procure said specimen, but for most, that is a lot of hard-earned dollars, like three thousand dollars or better. To be sure, this a lower rated coin, but still a beautiful one, and better than most, without getting into the stratosphere of MS-65 graded coins and better. I have found, within penny rolls and bags, various lower grade 1909 VDB and 1909 S VDB pennies of which I save and cherish, but to have a certified version unto which I can leave unto my grand nieces and nephews to perhaps someday be graded and certified, as well as this one, means more to me than attaining that holy grail of 1909 pennies. The MS-70 1909-S VDB penny, though I would like to at least see one, if not my own, before I leave this earth.
