KO.0080D.019 Acer DVD +/- RW Optical Drive E5-575G-53VG ASPIRE ATC-780-AMZI5

I got a new Acer Aspire TC-1785 computer to replace my aging Windows 10 machine. The computer did not have an optical drive but came with a kit to install one. Different brand drives have different methods of attaching the bezel but the KO.0080D.019 Acer DVD fit the bezel supplied in the kit exactly. It took about an hour for me to install the drive using online instructions that included several unnecessary steps of removing the HDD and ODD brackets. Installation would have taken 15 minutes with accurate instructions. Remove side panel. Unclip plastic computer front panel and remove dummy bezel. Reinstall computer front panel ensuring it is fully seated. Assemble ODD drive using metal bracket, plastic clip, and long screws provided in the kit. Slide the assembled ODD into the computer housing through the slot in the front panel until the bezel is flush and the clip locks into place. Install the SATA power and data cables provided in the kit between the ODD and the computer motherboard. Replace the side panel. The KO.0080D.019 Acer DVD fit perfectly, was very reasonably priced with free delivery, arrived several days early, and worked correctly immediately after power-up.
