These blades were just fine for mulching on my John Deere Mower. I have a bagger on the back of my mower and these blades didn't generate enough lift to work with the bagger. The chute stayed clogged. It wasn't the fault of these blades because they weren't designed for that. I had to order some high lift blades from J.D. These blades were well made and I'm sure they will work when I remove the bagger. Just don't depend on them to work with a bagger.
