Hydrodistilled from the petals of the Bulgarian Damask Rose to produce an exquisite essential oil that is a favorite amongst those who use it. It takes 4,000 kg of rose petals to make 1 kg of Organic Rose Otto Undiluted. This essential oil differs from Rose Absolute because of the extraction method and its ability to solidify at a temperature of 68 degrees F.
This is perfectly normal and occurs because of the natural components that are extracted during the distilling process. Rose Otto has a wonderful, floral aroma that will transfer you to a rose garden in seconds.

Fresh Rose Scent
This is my favorite! I purchased the rose absolute previously, and while it's still rose, it is stronger and reminds me much more of cheaper rose scented lotions, while the otto evokes the scent of a garden rose warmed by the sun on a summer evening. Just beautiful, exactly what I was looking for. This is such an emotionally soothing oil too and such a treat.
