unusable

cant stress enough my disappointment, built it out of the box except with ball bearings instead of kit bushings and teh esc was defective and smoked. after a week i finally got someone at tamiya america and they replaced the esc but the problems didnt end there. after installing the new esc i took it out to run and after a couple minutes of running i picked it up and the bottom of the chassis was extremely warm so i took off the body to remove the battery and while i was removing the battery i grazed the motor and got burned. the motor was running hot enough to be borderline able to melt ABS plastic. so i have been trying to get ahold of tamiya a but not having any luck calling, e-mails you name it. what i can relay is the one guy i managed to speak to with the esc problem was not very friendly, and it looks like tamiya america is just trash for support these days, im sure glad i didnt buy one of their "high end" car kits because quite frankly if support is this bad on their majority bread and butter items i can only imagine how miffed those people who spent 400+ on a kit would be. so let me make sure you understand the issue, stock hobbywing made tamiya THW-1060 brushed esc, included tamiya torque tuned motor, and stock 17t pinion, 70t spur gears. so something is clearly wrong and i cannot get any support from tamiya so id advise people to steer clear of this buggy and with the lack of support i recommend avoiding tamiya at all costs because support id sketch.
