There is no scent. A squirrel got trapped in my office wall. Smelled awful. If I left the door closed, the smell got worse. I purchased these charcoal odor eliminators out of desperation. The smell got much better. I know it's gone completely, but sometimes when I open the closet door I can still smell the squirrel. There is no smell left but my brain won't accept that. I know the smell is gone, my cat no longer will try to get into that closet. He was annoying. I do recommend the purchase of the odor eliminators. You get 6. One lasts a very long time.

Do not sleep on these. I literally put these out last night (my second round) and the smell was gone this morning. They work so well I always have a backstock of them. This is my second 6 pack. These are perfect for next to the litter box, under the sink, in the closet, by the hamper (name it). They last for a long time too Honestly, they don't really smell like anything. If you really try you can make out charcoal but they're not going to add a scent to the space, just remove nasty ones. They immediately wipe out the scent of rot while we wait to replace old cabinetry. Just be careful when you take the top off, there is a little bit of liquid in there and that can splash, easy to clean up if that happens though.
