With this combination grass seed, fertilizer, and soil improver, you can get up to a 50% thicker lawn subject to proper care (results may vary based on the condition of your lawn). This 3-in-1 solution for thin, weak lawns helps turn your grass into thicker, greener turf with stronger roots in one easy application. Use this product to overseed your lawn once in the late spring and once in the late summer or early fall. Apply in three easy steps: 1) Prep your lawn by mowing to 2 inches or at the lowest mower setting, then rake to loosen the top layer of soil and remove dead grass and debris. 2) Use a Scotts® spreader to apply (use the recommended settings on the label). 3) Water daily or as needed to keep the soil surface moist for 2 weeks until seeds germinate, then water regularly to maintain seedling growth.
