Like the bed but assembly was a challenge

The bed is attractive, made of lightweight wood. Very sturdy and solud once assembled. Assembly was difficult: working blind at times to screw a bolt into a nut was difficult and frustrating. Directions suggest it takes two people 45 minutes—bu t was more like 3-4 hours. Recommend using a drill to fasten slats.

Photos of white finish not accurate at all

This is NOT the bed I thought I was ordering. I selected the white finish, based on the pictures showing a distressed, beachy type of wood. What I got was a white shiny lacquer look. I feel like a 45 year old woman sleeping in a 12 year old girl's princess bed. Not what I was going for at all. Two stars because it is well made and solid at least. Too much of a hassle to return unfortunately, as the shipping box shreds when you open it.
