the weirdest thing about these shoes are putting them on for the first time. after about 30 minutes you feel muscles in your pinky toe and ring toe activate that you never felt before. I run 3.5 mi Plus in these shoes, I've walked 7 mi Plus in the shoes, I've worn these shoes for days at a time and then hung them out to dry and jump back in them again the next day. people always ask me what I'm wearing - I don't know about the other styles but you get style points for these red and black evos! I want to say I'm experiencing less back pain - I'm nearing 40 - but I think that's more of a longitudinal measure so I'll check back in on that. I definitely experience less pain in my body and lower back after running - but more calve pain. the pamphlet included suggests ramping up towards your standard workout in 10% increments to break these in - and I full on back this idea. if you've been thinking about these wild little shoes - give them a go they kick azzzz
