better than the old style lock

everything was great. It had good instructions. A template. I installed it in less than 20 minutes. Although it didn't show online how it was going to lock, I took my chances on purchasing it. A little bar comes out and grabs onto the edge of the strike plate which keeps it locked.

I bought 2 of these. This one is perfect for my new home's guest bathroom. the other one I returned not because anything was wrong with it but because I did not need a lock on the door it was meant for so I had to reorder one that didn't have a lock on it. This one seems very well put together, not cheap and flimsy, and while I am not in the house yet, I am happy with the looks of it. My builder says it will work very well where we have it.
