Nice but thin space between wall and rack

I wish I paid more attention to the measurement between wall and rack. I guess we have thicker towels. This is really more for hand towels that are smaller and not bath sheets.

Our towel holders are designed to blend in with their surroundings and to no take away from the rest of the space of the bathroom they are installed in. There should be enough clearance for a bath towel folded in fourths between the wall and the with no issues. I find that the do fit better the more they are folded.
