Absolutely love this Farmington Entryway Hall Tree Bench! I got the Weathered Oak color, which is a beautiful dark gray color. It has lovely variations in the wood, making it look rustic and perfect for the Farmhouse, Shabby Chic, Rustic Country, or Transitional decor style. It is a nice large size and fits lots of stuff! I have it placed in my entryway, and it makes for a lovely piece of functional decor, and a place to gather all the items you need to set down when you come home. The four double hooks can hold a lot of coats, jackets, purses, scarves, etc. and the cubbies underneath the bench can hold plenty of shoes, blankets, and other accessories. You can place hats and umbrellas on top of the unit, and I really love the bench! It's a nice size and really sturdy, perfect for sitting while putting on or taking off your shoes. There's even enough room for me to sit down, and have a child sitting next to me while I tie his shoes. I think the bench can definitely hold even more weight than it advertises. The whole unit measures: 68.5" tall, 38" wide, 16" deep. If you're trying to fit storage bins to fit in the cubbies underneath, EACH one measures: 16.2" wide, 13" tall, 14.75" deep. This is such a classic, heavy, solidly built piece that will last for many, many years! The only thing that may be a "con" for some people, is that this does not come assembled, and boy is the assembly tough! There are many, many pieces and many assembly steps. The box is extremely heavy (nearly 100 pounds) and you definitely need two persons to lift/carry it, as well as to assemble it. I had to have my husband help me carry the box and it took me over 2 hours to assemble it. The assembly instructions are very detailed and straight forward, and all pieces are clearly labeled with easily removable stickers; just make absolute sure you have each piece oriented the correct way throughout the process. However, once it's assembled, it seems much lighter and it's surprisingly super easy to move around to where you want it because there are small plastic feet you hammer in (not visible), that allow you to slide it with ease to the spot you want it (I have tile flooring, by the way). It also comes with a safety bracket you attach to the top of the unit and to your wall, to prevent it from tipping over. It is not top heavy at all, and there's a good amount of weight to the bottom, so I don't see how it could possibly tip over, however, the safety bracket gives parents piece of mind, just in case. I would absolutely recommend this gorgeous, heavy duty hall tree bench to anyone! [I received this product from the Spark Reviewer Program.]
