I will begin by telling you all the great things about this. #1 - the customer service and shipping was great. My product was shipped out quickly. When it got to my house, it was in a large freight box and was packed really well. None of the pieces were able to move around in the box and nothing was broken. #2. The product is exactly as it looks and after getting it up on the wall - I'm very pleased. Now on to the bad stuff........ THE INSTRUCTIONS ARE HORRIBLE. I would say that though I am no expert, I DO know my fair share of general "handyman" stuff. I have put together so much furniture and have fixed all kinds of repairs to my home. So when I read the comments about it being difficult to put together, I scoffed thinking that I knew more then them. (the joke was on me) The pictures are pretty clear in regards to putting the pieces together and the hardware is easy to identify and in a couple of the packages, they were already separated and marked. However, when it comes to mounting on the wall the pictures are AWFUL and the you tube videos are even worse. I was not able to mount the bottom shelves as per the instructions because the brackets they provided did NOT line up with where the mounting hooks should have been placed in the wall and on top of that the bracket didn't even fit all the way across the back of the unit. If you get this, PAY SOMEONE TO COME PUT IT UP. It was NOT worth the headache. They need to re-think the mounting design all together and put videos on youtube that have spoken instructions instead of classical music and really bad filming!
