I have had good luck with the ingredients In Caltrate for years and do not want to switch brands unless they discontinue this or make it unaffordable. As the supply decreases the prices are ridiculous.

I love this. I've always had a tendency to get low calcium, because I'm lactose intolerant, and I'm avoiding casein. I immediately notice when I am low on calcium, because I get leg and foot cramps. I find that this combination of vitamins and minerals works best for me. I believe that this composition does help absorption, because that has been my experience personally in my own body. I was a bit concerned at first, when they raised in the vitamin D content from 400 mg to 800 mg. I was afraid that I was going to be getting too much vitamin D. My fears turned out to be unwarranted. My doctor measured my blood vitamin D levels and they were still low. I still have to take an extra vitamin D supplement with these.
