It Works, and a Good Price….but buy a backup spare

It does work, but it's quite flimsy, and even being very careful of the thin wire and female lightning connector socket (signal %26 charge)…..these eventually wear out in a year or so. IF it were mounted stationary, plugged in once then left alone, I believe it would last indefinitely, but I don't have a dedicated iPad nor iPhone for permanent connection to our projector. When ordering a replacement, I ALSO PURCHASED A SPARE to prevent losing the system in the middle of an enjoyable movie. Never hurts to have a backup - to avoid fiddling around with a bad connector - many of You have dealt with that!

Worked for my needs with audio interface

Used this to connect my iPad 8th generation to a usb audio interface for guitar amp simulation and recording via GarageBand. Worked as expected. Also worked with my iPhone SE connecting it the same way. Why spend $35 or more on the Apple branded version of this product? However, I've only been using for a few weeks but so far so good.
