I have no idea how I have 3 boys and just got one of these, This thing is a game changer!!! It works beautifully, My twins' rain boots go from drenched (literally pouring water out of them) to 100% dry and warm in 2 hours or less. When the house heater is on, I can't even hear the dryer in the bathroom, and our place isn't that big... I love that I can do 2 pairs at once, that's obviously the appeal over the single pair dryers, but I do wish some sort of cap or cover came with it for 2 of the tubes if you only wanted to dry 1 pair, so the warm air wasn't being wasted on the other, empty tubes. IDK, maybe it can't have that kind of pressure or something, there's probably a reason, or a warning in the Owner's manual about covering the tubes... it's definitely not a big deal at all, it would just be nice. The timer works great, I love that I can stick all the wet shoes on there, turn the knob, and go to bed. I've literally used it every day since it arrived, and it's probably going to be a xmas present for a few people next year... I haven't tried drying big, or heavy boots on it, it doesn't seem like it would be a problem though. The machine and tubes are very lightweight, but seem spread out and low enough that it won't tip over. The drying tubes are actually 6 separate pieces that easily come apart, so storing it when it's not being used is a cinch. I have everything in a storage basket under the bathroom sink, it takes maybe 4 seconds to put it together. I would recommend this to anybody, 100X over. I could not be happier with how well it works, the price was great for how great it is. Hopefully it lasts, that's the only thing I'm unsure of. If you're comparing dryers, get this one. There is nothing that could be better about it. (maybe if it was free haha) I can't say enough good things about it, stop researching and Googling different brands, stop debating if you need one, you do! I didn't think I NEEDED this, I thought I just wanted it. I was wrong.
