This item was very difficult to assemble. Instructions are no where near helpful. I suggest getting Expert help to avoid such headache. I really hope they make a better manual. I believe if the instructions / steps are better explained, then this item would have better rating. Overall the item looks amazing and is very sturdy.

I give it a 5 for looks, but a -5 for “easy” assembly, and a 0 for accuracy of dimensions. It's nearly 35 x 35, and it didn't fit where I wanted to put it. It does, however, look great in my hallway. There is nothing easy about assembling this beast. The instructions are not that helpful, except for figuring out what part you're wrestling with. We tried building it from the bottom up, but the screws were nearly impossible to put in from the bottom, and the side supports pulled loose of the bottom shelf, stripping the wood. We finally built it upside down and backwards. 1) By having the shelves face the corner, we could use the walls to support the side pieces. 2) By placing it upside down, we could screw the shelves on from the top. It still took several hours to build this way, but at least we were able to assemble it. It does look nice in my hall, though, and it is very sturdy.
