Studs in the wall are usually 2feet apart and this mount is only a foot wide. In order to install this on a plaster wall, you need to put a secure bar between the studs like 2x4 or something of that sort. Other than that pretty much straight forward. Only 3 stars for having need to go extra step and materials before install on plater wall.
