Melannco Set of 4-6 12 20 24-inch Traditional Shelves in Dark Gray

Our bedroom furniture is a combination of a tobacco, walnut, and mahogany finishes and these wall shelves in espresso look great with those color combinations. I really like how each of the four shelves is slightly different in size to give a great collage look. It probably took an hour to measure the wall, figure out how we wanted these wall shelves to look, and then to get the floating shelves hung up, so give yourself time to make this look good. It does come with a template which was really helpful to tape up and see what the finished product would look like before making holes in the walls. We did not need these shelves to hold anything with any significant weight. All items are less than two pounds at most, so I can't speak for whether or not these shelves will hold a truly heavy object. I do have the same floating shelves, but in white, in our master bathroom and have one of those candles with jewelry inside and that is sitting on a shelf and doing fine, so I hope that helps. I gave this four stars because it is a bit complicated to install. But the biggest reason is that we had to order a second set of these floating shelves in order to get a set without any chips or nicks or paint issues on them. The first set came from Amazon, so that was not Walmart's fault. These floating shelves are a Melannco brand and so I feel that the issue lies there because 1) there is an opening on the front of the box that exposes part of the wood with the purpose of showing the buyer what the color looks like, and 2) there is simply a very light sheet of Styrofoam padding between each shelf which is probably not enough protection. But overall, these are great floating shelves and they look amazing in our bedroom.
