Prolux 9000 Upright HEPA Vacuum with on Board Tools

This replaces a Panasonic upright that I bought new and maintained since 1996. It still works but this Prolux model addresses virtually all the inherent shortcomings of the old model. The filtering is vastly improved (bag improved, hepa filter vs the old foam filter, motor exhaust filter added) such that there is virtually no smell or dust escaping from the vacuum. As for convenience, all the accessories are attached and easily accessible. When using them, simply leave the vacuum in the upright position and the roller will stop rotating. There is a footswitch for disabling the roller on bare floors, then reengaging the roller as needed. I've been able to reach cobwebs on corners of ceilings. It is a corded model so stairs are tricky and somewhat dangerous at my old age. Fortunately, the wife uses a small cordless for that. It does a great job sucking up floor dirt. About the only thing it cannot reach is under the bed and certain furniture. Otherwise, it's a great all arounder. The cord is long and easy to stow/release. The lights are LED, The warranty is substantial: 3 yrs parts %26 7 yrs on the motor. There's even a full bag indicator on this model. This is not a throwaway. With the usual maintenance and use of oem filters and parts I fully expect this to be my last upright. Finally I had a couple of questions and the email responses were timely and helpful.

Best vacuum I've ever owned. Seems like a cadilac of vacuums at a great price and seems very durable so far
