Outsidepride Geum Lady Stratheden - 2000 Seeds

Geum chiloense is a sweet little perennial that blooms in late spring. Deadheading the blooms can encourage continued blooming long into the summer. This variety, Lady Stratheden, has small 1 inch semi-double yellow flowers that are held high above the foliage on slender stems. The foliage forms a thick clump and stays attractive all growing season. It’s a pretty bloomer giving a nice color display even in partial shade. Geum can be divided if it becomes too large. Start the seed indoors 4 – 6 weeks before the last expected frost. Press the seeds into the soil covering them lightly. Keep the seed moist until germination. With temperatures of 68F, germination is normally within 28 days. When transplanting, pinch back to encourage a more bushy growth. Space the plants 18 inches apart. Grow in full sun to partial shade and in moist, well-drained soil.
